Time Tagger

qutools logo

State of the art time-to-digital converter

The time tagging devices of qutools record timing events in a flexible manner and provide a timestamp with picosecond resolution for each event.

This can be used for time-correlated single photon counting TCSPC, coincidence measurements, start-stop measurements, auto- and cross-correlation measurements and many more applications. All devices are connected via USB 3.0 to your computer with either Windows or Linux installed.

See the following variants differing in the number of input channels, jitter specifications and prices.

Measuring the timing jitter, an electrical pulse with steep edges is split into two inputs of the quTAG. A start-stop histogram is generated and fitted with a Gaussian to determine RMS and FWHM.
